Project Spaces

A space for experimentation

We’re piloting running project spaces across Cornwall – short-term opportunities that offer artists and creatives time and room to focus on a specific idea, piece of work or area of development away from the demands of their usual environment. Project spaces are designed to be flexible, supporting experimentation, reflection, and creative risk-taking. Whether used for research, making, collaboration or sharing work, each space is shaped by the person or people using it.

In June 2025, we worked with our colleagues at Krowji to offer the first pilot project space. This opportunity included two weeks of studio use and the chance to take part in the Krowji Summer Showcase. You can find out more about the recipients of this opportunity here.

In August 2025, we partnered again with Krowji to offer a project space specifically for emerging and early career artists who might not otherwise have access to a studio space, this time for a month.
