Atelier Studio and Gallery in Lostwithiel is run by Julie Lyng. She invited Sara Lamb to share her studio for three weeks and they worked jointly on a series of paintings exploring themes arising from the concept “ Torn”. Some examples; torn between the solitude needed for artistic practice and the need for social contact and exchange of ideas, torn between research and spontaneity and torn between abstraction and narrative approaches.
