About The Manchester Contemporary

Now in its 15th year, The Manchester Contemporary is a collegiate platform for over 150 young galleries, artist-led spaces, charitable organisations and partner institutions. It provides a critically engaged environment for artistic exploration and development. Past exhibitors include Liverpool Biennial, The Whitworth Gallery, and Vane. The event, alongside the more commercial Manchester Art Fair, is the biggest event of its kind in the north of England, and attracts over 12,000 visitors, curators, collectors from across the UK and internationally.

About Flamm

Part of Creative Kernow, Flamm is Cornwall’s newest contemporary art festival and a platform for showcasing visual artists based in Cornwall nationally and internationally as part of the Creative Kernow Associates programme.

About Auction House

Auction House is an artist-led project space in Redruth, Cornwall. Established in 2018 by Redruth-born artist Liam Jolly, its aim is simply to provide space for contemporary artists to experiment and test new ideas behind closed doors. However, the project quickly evolved into a platform for public exhibitions, performances, screenings, and residencies. Unfunded, AH went on to host over 25 exhibitions and events before its temporary closure in 2022.

In September 2024, AH is set to return to its home at the Buttermarket in Redruth following a two-year renovation project completed by landlords, Redruth Revival. Looking ahead, its mission is to continue to provide a vital platform for local, national and international emerging and established artists to showcase ambitious exhibitions in Redruth, whilst simultaneously creating opportunities for the local community to have meaningful and inspiring encounters with the work of contemporary artists.
