LAUNCH: Krowji Dye Garden Collection

Cornish Inks

September 14, 2026

During Open Studios at Krowji on the 2nd and 3rd October “Cornish Inks” will launch our new summer collection made from flowers grown and harvested at Krowji across the last few months. Alongside this we have a collection made from flowers grown at Loveland last year. We have been dyeing nettle linen to make bespoke sketchbooks in stunning pastel colours – soft pinks, yellows, greens and blues. We have been brewing drawing inks from our beautiful flowers – marigold, chamomile, scabious black knight, and many more! As well as a set of soft pastels from gorgeous Cornish clays – Prisk, Tehidy, St.Agnes, Gunwallow, and East Rise, Falmouth. We are also working on oil bars and watercolour palettes which will be released later this year in time for Christmas. We are a small Cornish women-led company making handmade paints and inks from the botanicals and earth pigments. We are one of only 15 (approx.) pigment companies left in the UK. Everything is made, ground and mullered by hand. Come along and find out more about this endangered craft.
