Local Illustrator Returns to Enys Gardens to Create Family Week Activities
Cornish Books
Alexandra Fowler of Cornish Books will once again be returning to Enys House & Gardens in Penryn to help bring this year’s Family Week to life.
A Cornwall-based children’s author, illustrator and founder of Cornish Books, Alexandra creates books and educational experiences inspired by Cornwall’s heritage and natural world.
Taking place from 27th July to 2nd August 2026, Family Week will feature a variety of outdoor activities centred around an interactive family garden trail. Following the success of last year’s event, Alexandra has once again worked with the Enys team to create this year’s trail, designing engaging activities that encourage children to explore the historic gardens while discovering hidden surprises along the way.
Alexandra will also be leading creative craft activities throughout the week, inspiring families to take inspiration from the beautiful surroundings of Enys Gardens.
Alexandra said: “It’s always a pleasure to work with Enys Gardens. The grounds are full of inspiration, and creating activities that encourage families to explore nature together is something I’m incredibly passionate about.”
Family Week runs from 27th July to 2nd August. Tickets are £8 for adults, £3 for children and £20 for a family ticket, with free entry for Enys Members.
