
Screen Cornwall and Creative Kernow Associates are joining forces on a new exciting programme that incubates ambitious CreaTech and Immersive projects in Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly.

About the Immersive Innovation
The aim of this programme is to build skills and networks in 360 production and other forms of immersive content, enabling those with project ideas to research, and develop them with support from mentors and their peers.
By bringing together visual cultural and heritage environments with screen and technical practitioners, we are aiming to help participants create new intellectual property and collaborations that will leverage future income for their work while developing knowledge around the value chain for immersive.
Who Is This For?
We are forming a cohort of organisations and individual practitioners, who will work on projects from November 2024 to July 2025, in partnership with Real Immersive.
- 8 Arts/Cultural organisations or freelancers.
- 8 Digital/Screen sector organisations or freelancers.
Participants must be based and registered in Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly. Collaboration between groups is encouraged but optional.
What Does This Offer?
- Workshops on immersive practice and business models (in-person and online).
- Budget for specialist mentoring and/or attend industry events /visit relevant projects.
- Peer learning via monthly virtual check-ins.
- Grant funding during the cohort to research and develop your ideas (between £1,500 and £6,000) to be allocated by January 2025 to each participant and completed by December 2025, on presentation of an R&D proposal.
- Free one-year Creative Kernow Associates full membership to access other resources and opportunities.
- Showcasing / audience engagement opportunities at Imagination Unleashed 2025 and 2026.
Selection
