Art Surgery is an artist-led peer support programme for artists in Cornwall, co-founded and facilitated by artists Ruth Bateman and Christina Kutter. Developed in partnership with Creative Kernow Associates and CAMP, it offers free sessions for CKA and CAMP members, creating welcoming spaces to share work in progress, test ideas, ask questions and receive constructive feedback from fellow artists.

Hosted at venues across Cornwall, each session brings together a small group of artists for structured discussion, critical reflection and informal networking. Each session brings together a small group of artists, with bookable presentation slots giving participants dedicated time to share work, pose questions or test ideas, alongside structured discussion and informal networking. Artists can book a presentation slot or simply come along to listen.

Upcoming Art Surgeries are announced on CKA and CAMP’s social media.
